Tried to ride out the rest of this week in "Lazy Leisure" as have been away for a week, had a day of rest and eased back into clients today. Thank you Jen: hard gel nail overlay in clear and natural pink followed Shellac topcoat, all in aid of keeping these nails hard and natural whilst promoting healthy growth. Megan had a Shellac removal, sculpted acrylic extensions then a custom Shellac design in metallic, custom glitz, holographic foils and swarovskis.... Linda: extensions then Shellac mani in black and hot pink feats....Cate with extensions and nude beige Shellac manicure then Rachel with extensions with a zebra red and black Shellac manicure design. French white flare duck tail tips with Shellac chevron

A touch of elegance today on this FLIRTY FRIDAY in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo .

As per the usual, one may have booked for a particular service then catch a glimpse of the products and nek minnit a whole new ball game LOL... that's what happened with Sue (Nike nails), Beth (lips and hearts nails) and Lisa (dangle feat). One of Lisa's faux pearl drop earrings broke as she walked in...no problems i'll incorporate it into a feat nail...cute and different. A warm welcome to first time lovely Rema. She hit me on the PM late last night cos she's getting married tomorrow and she was unhappy with the booking she had made with another salon due to the belief she felt she was overcharged for a simple brief of aesthetically wedding nails in white with a difference SO here we have her curiosity satisfied with a set of French white flare (duck tail) tips with Shellac chevron striping for her wedding look. The flare of the tips are controlled by the cut length and file up to accentuate or downplay the shape. The pic so does not do these nails justice. At a fraction of the price she was quoted for a lousy set of plain French white we achieved a set of nails she loves that will transfer to her happy day tomorrow. So pleased for you doll, keep that smile on your dial. 

Bit of a crack up as it seemed Chrissy and Stella were so fascinated by the flare tips as well, they too went for it followed by their Shellac manicure's....neat alright ladies, i totally understand when you've just gotta DO IT . Misty wanted a blue Shellac pedicure, nek minnit she sees the foils and i'm tapping some onto those tootsies ....ain't it great to have so many choices and try new things. Cala was in this morn for her extensions, baby pink Shellac topped in matte and a lace design French in white topped with Shellac on the French...stunning. They will be a showstopper with your dress for tomorrow's celebration....enjoy!

Happy much on this TAILORED THURSDAY in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo .

A warm welcome to Marie, in today for her very first pro acrylic/Shellac service. Here she's sporting 5 finger acrylic sculpts (add some length to even her manicure), an acrylic overlay then her Shellac French manicure in Hotski to Tchotchke and chrome gold feats. So lovely to meet you. Thank you Chez Taylor for the lovely recommendation xx

Brooke also had a couple of finger sculpts before her Shellac manicure in her fave maroon and silver chrome feats. Larnie went all out using her Xmas gift certificate to have her acrylic extensions, Shellac and bling. Nikki had an acrylic overlay to aid her short nail length health followed by her Shellac nude manicure ....go you! Gail had the same overlay followed by her chrome gold French Shellac manicure . Dawn stayed true with a hard gel overlay then a classic French white Shellac manicure . I rounded my day off with a hard gel toenail rebuild then this gel polish pedicure for Cam. All i can say is if we took before shots of these tootsies you'd truly be amazed at the transformation. It is a process of patience but the results are so worthy as depicted in this stunning purple. Once again ladies, yous ROCK DA BOAT .

Sheree with the cute heart chains and twins Leighanne and Leah came in for their love heart designs which their handsome guys booked and bought in vouchers...they are matching pink and red themes - love!

Polish, gel polish, Shellac, gel or acrylic

MAGIC REMOVAL KITS - How To Use
Step 1: use starter file Needy Nails 100/150 grit to gently buff the shine off the nail (break the seal on the gel so the remover can penetrate).
Step 2: tear open the remover wrap along the perforated line - peel off the plastic tab to uncover the sticky strip.

Step 3: insert finger/toe and fold firmly around nail to fit - be sure to stick the folds to the side with the sticky strip to hold wrap in place.
Step 4: after sufficient time for removal (pending on what you're removing; polish, gel polish, Shellac, gel or acrylic) time varies 3-15 minutes - twist off wrap.

Step 5: use orange wood stick or contour file (grey wolf) to remove any remaining product.
Complete natural manicure/pedicure - push back cuticles, buff the nail with sponge buffer, cleanse the nails then massage in cuticle oil.
NOTE: You can re wrap your finger/toe if you want to extend your soak off time ...

Hope everyone had an awesome long weekend due to Waitangi Day. I did indeed lap-it-up and have a long weekend of lax and laziness. Nothing as gorgeous as being home in The North in The Hokianga, just a shame couldn't go back to celebrate....frightened might not come back to Taupo!!!

Saturday was an unscheduled emergency for Adele, her Maid of Honor and her Bridesmaid. Glad to have been here and able to help. Very unfortunate to have been letdown at the last minute but so so happy the smiles returned to your dials. Thanks for the pics and cheers girls, catch y'all up in 3 weeks.

Lil sister Mrs Trudy Chapman of Hot Tips Nelson has been baking her little patootie off the last few weeks and here's some of her little creations - stunning sister. I just love them. If i had to choose a fave atm i would say the 'bikini bod' and no need to wonder ole Mr Karl loved the chainsaw .

Did a couple of services this morn (a manicure/pedicure) before i had to head off for more bloods grrrhhhh... home in 25 mins to carry on with my nail day. Jan was my 1st victim after the needle LOL...so happy you are finally healing my friend won't be long before you can eliminate that bag as the weakest link. First bourbon on you when that happens. Set that damn hog up so we can slap our arses and jump them kegs hehehe... always love our time together my friend xx

Acrylic almoletto sculpts extensions

TIPS ON TUESDAY in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo!!!

This was a full day of acrylic sculpts and acrylic extensions + Shellac manicure's with sisters Shaz and Mel choosing to have extensions followed by Shellac French galaxy nails in black and silver and custom navy with multi mix glitz... beautiful girls... 

Kym had a nude and silver haze for her French over her extensions and Helen choose full manicure in neon red and glitz feats...

Stephi planned her set of sculpts since Sept 2014 for her work promo dinner tonight in Hollywood red, Blackpool and studio white with my spin on a tribal abstract mix design.... so so happy you're hub and friends are as stoked with your nails as you are... good luck for tonight x

Cracking up at my moko Kalo with her acrylic almoletto sculpts lol... what she had booked for was a black pool Shellac manicure after her sculpts followed by a matching pedicure LOL... not even! Proof again that what may be planned may not be what's produced. What's the saying...changing ones mind is a woman's prerogative???? That's what happened... I ended up sculpting crystal nails with a gold French haze in VIP Gold Status with a big gold dot smiley lines and feats... absolutely gorgeous, with your matching gold pedicure. Enjoyed my time with you and Nanny still feeds her babies.... i whipped up a dough for some Moroccan flat breads filled with ham, salad, cheese and spicy mayo... sorry you couldn't eat 2 for lunch....they were rather big aye, hence why 1 topped me off LOL... love you my girl xxx

A wicked day in The Lady Cave with some awesome ladies. A warm welcome to newbie Isabelle and her 4 year old daughter Nikita in for their Shellac pedicure's...so cute and gorgeous...love your pic submission. See you next month.

My mother came to get her fingers and toes revamped for a family wedding on Saturday so we sculpted her some extensions for some extra length followed by a neon Shellac abstract design...a theme where they all match but no 2 nails are the same, then we carried it on in her pedicure. She is so not afraid to try new things and for her, the more outrageous the colors the better she loves it - spoiled much she even came with lunch yummy xx

Shay and Mel also had Shellac manicure/pedicure combos to their liking. Carole saw the day out with her acrylic extensions followed by her layered Shellac for a custom color & some simple hand painted music notes as a nod to her dad whose just retired after teaching music for 40 years - bravo!

Thanks everyone for your pics as usual and an extra thank you for your patience waiting for me to get your pics up each day/night. This way allows me to have dinner with hubby at a reasonable time, tidy up, do what needs to be DID so i can then sit down and load your pics and get through the mountainous task of daily PMs...the biggest hugs all round ladies... YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Claire Bear Reds haw Shellac combo manicure/pedicure French white manicure/ dark hot pink pedicure. Lovely catch up and in terms of the medical findings....keep me informed. Take care doll.
My buddy Jan-Marie Quinn was also in for her acrylic back-fill, 3 finger sculpt fix ups ...her superhero hubby Michael choose a shellac hot pink and chrome silver feat for her manicure, i added a layer of VIP Status Silver over the chrome for interest - AMAZE BALLS! 

Topped it off My Humpty made a humble shared lunch for us all and i got to eat and mingle for a wee bit before my next client. Always enjoy your company my friend...let me know if you want me to make you a poultice xxx
