Beautiful ladies this TAILORED THURSDAY in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo!

Another day of "que sera sera...what will be will be". Sienna was booked for acrylic sculpts as per her usual BUT NOT TODAY lol....it was sculpted LED builder gel nails with some sculpture gel feats; loved encouraging her to try something new...she had the thought, i had the pleasure. Collaboration...works everytime!

Click: in waltzes one of my Turangi gals with the thought of sporting some white acrylic tip Frenchies...uhhhh nahhhh...she only wanted some length with a natural feel with the request of 'blue'. Heres the result...acrylic sculpts followed by Shellac French manicure... its what i call BLUE BAYOU - ineluctably elegant!
Abs spoils me rotten! A big fat cake of choc for me whilst her order was "that bright coral Shellac Nanny and that big silver glitter of yours"....no probs, coral in neon and the custom big holo silver glitz over silver chrome for feats - HOT HOT HOT!!! 

Sheryl, Lisa and Faye cranked it with their acrylic extensions followed with Shellac manicure's and crystal feats - LOVE IT LADIES 

I'm chef tonight so lazy simple i think my honey lol... big fat new York rump burgers with hollandaise mushrooms and BLT fillings should do the trick if you're lucky i might even make you an old fashioned lime milkshake with a big fat scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top, just the way you like it - YEH BOII teased myself into being hungus now hehehe...

Frances was in for her set of gel nails (and again, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SHORTBREAD).

I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely lady new to 'The Lady Cave' Needy Nails Taupo: Rachael O'Connell (attached to my bizo LIKE page). Am pleased I managed to do you a set of acrylics. Next was Donna for her set of gel nails; another lady whom came with a gift...a glass cannister of handmade 'white lily' wood shaved potpourri (smells so so devine) THANK YOU!

Last but by no means the least, the final lady for the day for her set of gel nails was Laura. Great to hear the news and an invitation to your forthcoming New Year nuptials (hmmmm what can I come up with for a special set of wedding nails) lol....

I really am rather overwhelmed by the generosity of being given some wonderful wonderful gifts for Xmas. It is humbling to know people care and are so giving... THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH (o;

OMG my PM is so inundated with so called 'Gel Nail' requests!

CORRECTION: Gelish nails ARE NOT GEL NAILS!!!
Gelish is a Harmony Brand of Gel Polish (a top brand product)!!! I have many many of these POLISHES!

I have ladies asking me if they can come for $30 gel nails.... uhhhhh come again! Apparently someone is advertising gel nails for $30 when actually you are getting a Gelish gel polish manicure - that in itself is an excellent price!
DON'T BE FOOLED - GELISH POLISH IS NOT GEL NAILS!!!

GEL NAILS ARE: made just like acrylics using BUILDER GELS!
This can be via the use of 'sculpt forms' or a tip application followed by builder gels to fill and make the nail (just like you would using acrylic).
Builder gels are the ONLY gels that make GEL NAILS!
The gels are of a viscosity that has a harder set; strong like acrylic EXCEPT they FLEX. They are super glossy, super lacquered AND FAR EXCEED THE PRICE TAG OF $30 - at least professionally they do!

I feel sorry for the clients whom believe they are getting gel nails when really they are getting a 'gel polish mani'. TRUST ME: if you came to me for a set of gel nails, you bet your bottom $$ you will certainly know the difference between a GELISH polish and a GEL NAIL!
How rude - that is a bloody rip off and false advertising!!!

Abs Raharuhi: this lass wanted bright so this is a mini-pedicure ; burnt tangerine/peach LED polish with peach sprinkle glitz - crystals are 5mm clear teardrops HOT HOT HOT - getting her 'beach on' LOL...

Casey: she wanted something different to represent Xmas and discovering her name was meant to be Cherry, I thought I would represent by doing a LED polish design of Xmas Cherries - 2 coats translucent candy apple red with pearlescent, polish stem and teardrop peridot crystal for leaf.

MAGIC MONDAY!

Started with Buddy Up Specials: Shan and Rachelle for sculpted natural acrylics and seriously the pics do not depict how gorgeous they really are. What was planned for a set of acrylic sculpts turned into a set of hard gel glitz nails with silver French. Deb had an acrylic back-fill and a re-balance; grey French with painted bows and silver glitz feat nails. Fee's sporting sculpted acrylic cusps with a custom mix coral peach LED polish manicure and swarovski feat nails.
It's training night tonight so on the hop a little LOL... will try to get some of your questions answered from the P.Ms for yous also, will make a general post. I seriously don't mind taking the time to answer, it's great that yous are asking those types of questions that ensure your nail health. Cheers ladies.

GOSH some of the school experiences some mum's are having with their kids being bullied, almost had me wanting to march up to the Principal's offices and giving them a commentary... our kids are there to be educated NOT to be set upon by other peers then ridiculed and disregarded all in the name of 'someone of a higher social status'... REALLY... I believe you should not feel pressured to move your child because another is supported by a systemic entourage of 'ignorance and rank' WHATEVER - "the higher the putative status, the harder the impact when you hit the dirt" (some of the reasons for the bullying almost makes one want to challenge the anti-smacking laws again) - stay strong mums!

First in this morning with a bottle of black sambuka and a white sambuka, yummy pastries (eek me could be sleeping at mummy's tomorrow if I got into that) were sisters Rochelle and Anita. They travel to me from Mt Maunganui regularly. This is their way of celebrating Xmas 'on their nails' - enjoy my lovely friends and thanks for the BOOZE - BOOM hehehheee...

This is fun when ladies take their own pics, especially when they take over my desk and lay down their props bwahahahaa... I don't care as long as I'm not the photographer (JUST DON'T KNOCK ANOTHER POT OF MY GLITZ ON THE FLOOR FOR YOUR PROP ANITA YOU CLOWN), they custom made and they COST (and she blows me kisses) - ya ditzy blonde!!!

I have a large clientele to service and newbies asking by the dozen daily; I cannot service everyone as I would like to (due to timeframes) but NO ONE gets short changed here in service, hospitality and satisfaction!

This girl can still smack out 2 sets of sculpts in an hour including time to put on forms; hand file + gel topcoat.
NEVER RUSHED HERE - get tired cos I'm Wonder Woman' LOL... but the nail service is NEVER compromised!
The proof is in the clientele - QUANTITY due to high numbered clientele returning; QUALITY all the way to my heart NOT my BANK ACCOUNT!

Now one more time - Save The Lip, Hand On Hip, Don't Grandstand - TALK TO THE HAND!!!
