MORNING Y'ALL IT'S THRILLER THURSDAY!

Woke this morning wanting to dance to 'Old Skool'...OMG even sang it TWICE and doing that 'electric slide' to none other than Mr 'Sexy Vocals Himself' BARRY WHITE!
I swear my dog laughed at me cos I was a Diva pumping my hairbrush like a 'microphone'; hair toss (uhhh nearly lost my wig not to mention my balance; shimmied (uhhh my boobs did anyway) and ran to the kitchen at the end to do my 'slide' (uhhh you trip not slide on carpet) and it was more like a skid - all in all it was fun and whaddaya know, I was right by the jug so on with the morning latte - MORNING Y'ALL (o;

Nice and easy today... 4 clients nicely spaced throughout my day. Back in the groove and fresh on the move LOL...

And in walked the lovely Hannah White. Was so so awesome to catch up with this young sweetheart. AND our day continued with Ngahiraka Collier: always a pleasure with this gorgeous client; one of the most intelligent ladies, awesome mum and faithful partner one can adore + she has lovely nails and maintains them well.
After 2 months and one backfill we decided today we would remove the acrylic and I sculpted some length onto her nails, followed by a LED polish French pink & white manicure with a Gelish white glitz for some reflective POP! They are beautiful just like the lovely lady herself... glad to have introduced you to the magic world of sculpts (o;

First in this arvo was Sini: this is a clear acrylic extension followed by a LED polish manicure in 'ravishing red'. The colour of LOVE and one which suits the lovely lady to a tee. There is something very beautiful about a simple one colour manicure.. see you next month (o;

Next was the gorgeous young Steph Shorter: a classic set of pink & white acrylics with NO NAIL ART FEATS urggghhh SHAME.... told her when she booked a couple of weeks ago that I would chuck in a couple of feats for her as she's been such an awesome STOP THE NAIL BITING CLIENT... uuhhhhh nahhhhh this Maaree girl gel topcoats and wipes off the dispersion layer then goes HUHHH THAT'S PRETTY ORDINARY AYE (penny drops and Steph just smiles).... gotta make up for that at the next booking aye babe LOL xx

Having me an early lunch break cos I've been a good working girl and got through my first 4 clients at a good pace whilst still laughing and babbling... my creamy pasta/crab salad Humpty made last night is so delish...

First off the taxi rank this morn was another shift worker client... Candice (Candy): she loves the colour RED and cos this is Valentino Month what a better way to celebrate it than with a set of red acrylics, reflector glitz nail art (these little buggers take time to place) LOL and clear crystal feats topped with the Needy Nails Gel Topcoat for that super lacquered shine.

Next was Waimarie: she's getting married tomorrow and she booked before Xmas. She wanted something subtle but wedding(ish) with a sparkle...
This is a full set of the Classic Pink & White Acrylic Sculpts; custom gel mix of white/silver glitz applied in a haze with silver sequin glitz for random feats... this is about as subtle and classic as a set of acrylics can be yet still appear wedding(ish) with the required sparkle...

Next in was the lovely Jan-marie Quinn from Bailey Quinn Hair Salon. Another great catch up with the busy lady... today we did her acrylic backfill and a lovely white Gelish overlay sparkle before the gel topcoat; a little glam to the busy lady's nails as most hairdressers will know, gems and embellishments are a hindrance to hands that are always in products and working with people's hair, so this was a nice little 'feel good' element.

To top off my morning session, in bowled the vivacious Olivia (Viv): today was her acrylic backfill followed by a LED polish design. As a lover of animal print and wanting to celebrate the Month of Love, I created this design for her in red-a-kill, vanilla creme brulee' and the ever present abyss black... red is for love; leopard print as her favourite print and vanilla creme brulee' heart swirls as a nod toward her 'man of interest'. So pleased you love them Liv was a bit worried cos throughout the design you didn't speak BUT when it was done and you said you were holding your breath because you were awestruck... glad to have zipped your gob for a 1/2 hour buddy hehehheee (o; see you next month xxx

One of my most 'bold regs' steps up next for her combo LED polish manicure/pedicure... none other than the lovely Abs Raharuhi with a basket of home baked cupcakes YUSS CUPCAKES: red velvet and choc cake with gobs of icing NOM NOM greedy me much LOL... well it probably won't do her any favours cos she brings me some goodies (oh the famz are gonna make you bake dozens for them cos I let the cat outta the bag) bahahahaaa... Happy 2014 and welcome to motherhood Sheila: this gorg mummy was in for her LED polish manicure... she had a daughter 9 days ago and her name is Katherine and they nicknamed her Kitty so to celebrate that Sheila went with a hot pink with white polka dot design and to cap it off I hand painted some Kitty Cat feats as a celebration to the birth of this lovely baby girl (thanks for bringing her in when hubby picked you up; something about the feel and smell of newborns).... beautiful my friend... see you next month xxx

Today was an acrylic infill (pic so does not reflect her pretty nails), a sculpted on form feat nail (we call him Mr Thank You) because he has not had a natural nail for many a year - today was his day and he is highlighted with black LED swirl nail art and all gel coated with a beautiful white speckle reflector; they have a very wedding-like bride-to-be appearance (uhhh in Barbie's case, a very long ago bride) LOL... they really are gorgeous just like you my dear friend!

Did a quick emergency repair for a lovely lass who smashed her thumb tip (and broke her heart)...not a prob, during my break she came in and I sculpted a nail back on, gel topcoat and she was back to brand new... LOL... not mentioning names cos she'd be so teased she reckons (mum's the word babe)....

Beth was next for her acrylic backfill then a layer of crystal builder gel (for some flex) with a LED polish design... these are stunning offset with her jewellery. Looks great Beth see you in a few weeks.

Last but not least, this is Lynda. Lynda is 'out there' and loves to flaunt it with her hair, jewellery and nails.
