Mum & daughter duo Liz and Ruth have made it at least a 3-4 wk regular visit for their nail pampers and they were 1st in for their acrylic sculpts with a shellac pastel neon French for Liz and a shellac mani for Ruth. Neon pastels at its best with 2 opposing options - fabuloso ladies. Tia was in for a tidy up hard gel/acrylic relay with a nail stamping black vine feat...sorry no pic we were pushed for time as this was unplanned but Tia was adamant she was not going for full acrylic frenchies LOL...nice one babe, always lovely to see you. Mandy and Simone were in for their acrylic overlays for strength followed by their shellac manicure's...looking good gals. Dee ducked in for a quick fix emergency as she is wearing off her old acrylics from a Sydney nail bar and needed 3 new frenchies to replace those fallen soldiers LOL... Last but not least were cousins Lou and Maxi for their acrylic extensions with dripping paint design Shellac mani's.... thanking you all kindly ladies... YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Revelations: also first time having a pro service, first time wearing Shellac to the point of asking WHAT IS SHELLAC... lovely gal, thank you for your patronage. Rachael sports LV, Pat sports ombre tye dye, Anja sports black french and nail art, Jess went Diva with long and very square with crucifix feats topped off with Carolyn and her pink and teal design.

A local clothing business lady is getting ripped to shreds on her bizo page cos idle gossip mongers can't help but cause jelly drama and influence potential buyers before they can purchase. UGLY! Tried to ride out the rest of this week in "Lazy Leisure" as have been away for a week, had a day of rest and eased back into clients today. Thank you Jen: hard gel nail overlay in clear and natural pink followed Shellac topcoat, all in aid of keeping these nails hard and natural whilst promoting healthy growth. Megan had a Shellac removal, sculpted acrylic extensions then a custom Shellac design in metallic, custom glitz, holographic foils and swarovskis.... Linda: extensions then Shellac mani in black and hot pink feats....Cate with extensions and nude beige Shellac manicure then Rachel with extensions with a zebra red and black Shellac manicure design. Butterfly sculpt hard UV/Led gel

No flies on this girl today...cranked it out staccato in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo on this sunny TIPS ON TUESDAY 

Well it was a day of double bookings and the ladies came-a-calling kind of like Noah's Ark????....2 by 2 LOL... only one solo in the form of Megan, back from holiday down in Invercargill. Boyyyy did she have some munted digits so on with the butterfly forms to sculpt some hard UV/led gel extensions then a marbling design in 3 shades of purple (and they would definitely attract Christian Gray) hehehe.., French style swagg and tapping in mylar foil silver and purple hug hlight feats...these are totally gorgeous....just for Megan. Besties Jen and Holly were first in: acrylic tip extensions then the trusty Shellac. Dayla and Fee had acrylic tip extensions, Shellac and foil feats to pop those nails BOOM! Rounding my day off nicely were the irrepressible Anja and Simone flying high with their Shellac manicure designs on their natural nails. More ladies making good choices to change those nail biting habits. WOMEN POWER... thank you ladies for a fantastic day.

French black pool Shellac polish

Finished with a flourish on this FLIRTY FRIDAY in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo .

Had awesome catch ups with Zola, Libby and Kassy in for their acrylic overlays to keep their nails nice and strong, finished with some color and design via Shellac polish. Te Ata has some of the healthiest natural nails i have ever encountered; long full beds and strong tips. Today was a French black pool Shellac with some mixed random foils for psychedelic and paua effect...all the same but different LOL. Marie had an acrylic sculpt for length and strength + Shellac polish removal before a new relay with a UV/led hard gel overlay to keep her natural length strong accompanied with her chosen Shellac color & design manicure that she saw from a client's pic earlier in the week. That teal really is to die for and suits you to a tee. Happy wearing Marie, for a newbie to enhanced nails you are slammin' it! Emmie and Daph rounded my day off nicely with their uv/led hard gel overlay then Shellac manicure's in their chosen designs. Thank you so much beautiful ladies. I adore you all .

Besties June & Sini were in for their acrylic extensions and French Shellac. Marnie, Vanessa and Rochelle had their classic white French, Fi, Nadine and Wendy had their prettify acrylic overlays and Shellac manicure's, Savanna had a hard UV/led gel overlay followed by a 2 silver chrome & gunmetal metallic French Shellac with subtle VIP silver feats and simple nail art, ending the working day with Kere's set of acrylic white French. Thank you lovely ladies - high 5s and bones  LOL....

Yes keeping stats as uncluttered as possible due to Mug book's penchant for affixing your reach... it's not ALL ABOUT THAT BASS for them it's ALL ABOUT THE DOSH $$$💸💱.... true story right there you clowns. Classic natural and French white tips

Thankful much in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo on this TIPS ON TUESDAY 

Classic in the natural and French white tips for Jess, Carole and Sarah. These are UV/led hard gel applications. Very clean and natural this way to keep nails strong. Not everyone likes bold and bright constantly and this is an awesome way to achieve low maintenance and still be pretty .

The ever popular acrylic extensions for length and strength followed by a French Shellac manicure for Heather and this purple for Claire were their choices for today. Beautiful and thank you ladies.

A warm welcome to Marie, in today for her very first pro acrylic/Shellac service. Here she's sporting 5 finger acrylic sculpts (add some length to even her manicure), an acrylic overlay then her Shellac French manicure in Hotski to Tchotchke and chrome gold feats. So lovely to meet you. Thank you Chez Taylor for the lovely recommendation xx

Brooke also had a couple of finger sculpts before her Shellac manicure in her fave maroon and silver chrome feats. Larnie went all out using her Xmas gift certificate to have her acrylic extensions, Shellac and bling. Nikki had an acrylic overlay to aid her short nail length health followed by her Shellac nude manicure ....go you! Gail had the same overlay followed by her chrome gold French Shellac manicure . Dawn stayed true with a hard gel overlay then a classic French white Shellac manicure . I rounded my day off with a hard gel toenail rebuild then this gel polish pedicure for Cam. All i can say is if we took before shots of these tootsies you'd truly be amazed at the transformation. It is a process of patience but the results are so worthy as depicted in this stunning purple. Once again ladies, yous ROCK DA BOAT .

The News @ 6 whilst loading my pics and post is what I'm about on this WOWZER WEDNESDAY in The Lady Cave @Needy Nails Taupo .

Lots of good news shared amongst clients Gemma, Hilde, Maata, Jude, Thyne, Rose and Kim . Without name dropping LOL, 2 of today's ladies will be celebrating wedding nuptials later in the year YAY! Congrats you deserved gals, can't wait to design your nail needs .

One word: EXTENSIONS! This really is getting so popular as everyone is loving the idea of some added length to enjoy a new nail shape or nail strength to highlight their choice of a pretty color polish. I have to confess that my usage of glitter has dropped vastly with the large range of gel polishes at hand for selection. The metallic are super popular especially the chrome silver or the scope of customizing colors by layering with Shellac....the options are limitless and anything is achievable when consulting beforehand to see what suits your wants and the utmost nail health integrity is paramount. Roll on Nail Divas .

I am finding more and more ladies are enjoying the savings of extra $$$$ in their budget that allows for an extra color or some nail art by buying their Magic Removal Kits and maintaining their nails between services. Just buy more removal wraps, files and cuticle oil when needing to top up and you can't go wrong. Awesome job maintaining ladies .

Sorry to come off as though I'm stalling yous on the PM for weekend applications. I am still undecided whether i will be here in town or away for a couple of nights....will write a post Friday once i'm certain.

A warm welcome to lovely new client Jen for her LED builder natural gel overlay for strength. Lovely to meet you and keep up the good work by keeping those nails out of your mouth .

Marie's getting married tomorrow and like a few of us 'old school' fans of Betty Boop she is staying true to her wants and going for gold. This is a set of acrylic extensions with Shellac and BB decals. Congrats doll .

Kim, Karyn, Fiona and Beth all stayed with their growing new faves, acrylic extensions and Shellac...thank you my lovelies .

When Jessie told me she wanted to blow her partner away with acrylic extension fingers and toes (she has a degenerate disease) in the colors he loves of black and orange.....well.... Okay rocker, first thing to my mind was simple neon flames...made me think of you sister Trudy Chapman. Happy you're happy Jess, you look stunning as usual .

Have to mention, the sales of the 3D mascara sets and the Magic removal kits are off the wall. I never recommend anything i don't use and test vigorously then claim THEY ARE THE SHIZZ - they are the SHIZZ .

Polish, gel polish, Shellac, gel or acrylic

MAGIC REMOVAL KITS - How To Use
Step 1: use starter file Needy Nails 100/150 grit to gently buff the shine off the nail (break the seal on the gel so the remover can penetrate).
Step 2: tear open the remover wrap along the perforated line - peel off the plastic tab to uncover the sticky strip.

Step 3: insert finger/toe and fold firmly around nail to fit - be sure to stick the folds to the side with the sticky strip to hold wrap in place.
Step 4: after sufficient time for removal (pending on what you're removing; polish, gel polish, Shellac, gel or acrylic) time varies 3-15 minutes - twist off wrap.

Step 5: use orange wood stick or contour file (grey wolf) to remove any remaining product.
Complete natural manicure/pedicure - push back cuticles, buff the nail with sponge buffer, cleanse the nails then massage in cuticle oil.
NOTE: You can re wrap your finger/toe if you want to extend your soak off time ...

I have been asked if I would consider selling my training gel manicure sets publicly. The set includes compact 9w LED lamp, Shellac base coat, top coat, red, white and black polishes; nail files, buffers, pusher, cuticle remover, cuticle oil and remover wraps. 

Although there is definitely money to be made, I stay loyal to the art of paying students via the nail academy, also staying conscious of the fact that this also takes away from other salons providing a pro service to be under minded by homekits. I'm sorry ladies. For some ladies, providing a nail service is what pays their bills, educates their kids and puts food on their tables. I am fortunate to not be governed by the need to rely on a living from nail services, therefore, I am bound by honour to decline. Acrylic sculpted LED gel nails

Beautiful ladies this TAILORED THURSDAY in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo!

Another day of "que sera sera...what will be will be". Sienna was booked for acrylic sculpts as per her usual BUT NOT TODAY lol....it was sculpted LED builder gel nails with some sculpture gel feats; loved encouraging her to try something new...she had the thought, i had the pleasure. Collaboration...works everytime!

Click: in waltzes one of my Turangi gals with the thought of sporting some white acrylic tip Frenchies...uhhhh nahhhh...she only wanted some length with a natural feel with the request of 'blue'. Heres the result...acrylic sculpts followed by Shellac French manicure... its what i call BLUE BAYOU - ineluctably elegant!
Abs spoils me rotten! A big fat cake of choc for me whilst her order was "that bright coral Shellac Nanny and that big silver glitter of yours"....no probs, coral in neon and the custom big holo silver glitz over silver chrome for feats - HOT HOT HOT!!! 

Sheryl, Lisa and Faye cranked it with their acrylic extensions followed with Shellac manicure's and crystal feats - LOVE IT LADIES 

I'm chef tonight so lazy simple i think my honey lol... big fat new York rump burgers with hollandaise mushrooms and BLT fillings should do the trick if you're lucky i might even make you an old fashioned lime milkshake with a big fat scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top, just the way you like it - YEH BOII teased myself into being hungus now hehehe...
