My PM is being choked with questions about wanting to book for Shellac acrylics LOL.... there is Shellac, there is acrylics, there is Shellac over acrylics and yes it's possible to do acrylic over Shellac (ooh i can see the cogs turning in your heads ladies) ie: French clear tip, paint your Shellac color in French, wipe away the dispersion layer then clear acrylic fill. Have done it many times in a variety of ways with embedded nail decals and it is stunning, however, it would be fair to mention, that if the product isn't topnotch you're gonna get a nasty result, both you and the applicator .... in terms of time and $$$$ i suggest going with a clear tip extension then a Shellac paint over, it's the best option for value if you're looking for a bit of nail length and some color. Same result achieved if sculpting the extensions before the Shellac, just add a few more $$$. If you've not had sculpts then you are missing out on the real deal. I think i'm starting a change of weather bot cos starting to get a tad 'sniffy and coughy' aside from my usual allergies (or just tired from being lazy)???? ... either either way, i'll keep y'all tagged should i need to suddenly bunk out and lay low....
